ARTICLE XXIII, Section 28—- Hazing is prohibited. Hazing is a criminal offense and shall not be tolerated by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Texas. Any departure from the ritual of Prince Hall Masonry which includes physical hazing is specifically prohibited. A charge of Un-Masonic conduct shall be submitted to a local Lodge or the Grand Lodge if any subordinate Lodge, Master Mason or candidate participates or permits hazing in any form. A Subordinate Lodge, Master Mason or Candidate charged and found guilty of hazing by a tribunal shall be expelled from the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Texas. It is an offense to participate in hazing, for a candidate to allow himself to be hazed or to be aware of hazing and not report it to the Grand Lodge. A Lodge, Mason or Candidate charged with hazing shall be immediately suspended until the trial and any appeal is concluded.
